/ PROJECT DESCRIPTION
During the course of planning our wedding, I quickly noticed how dispersed our guest base was. While my family and friends mostly resided within the state, my soon-to-be wife had guests traveling from all over the country, many of whom I was meeting for the first time.
To show our gratitude, I felt it appropriate to make our invitation remarkably memorable. Sent in a pillow-pack envelope, stuffed with translucent paper shreddings, the invitation contained a book wrapped in a paper sleeve, telling the story of our converging paths. The book was letterpressed, contained custom photography and the binding was hand-stitched. Each invitation was numbered like a limited edition artwork print.
Years later, family and friends still recount their delight upon receiving our invitation. Better still, most tell us they have kept it.
Some work shown here was created collaboratively.
