/ PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Aiming to engage its readership to take a more active role in their own health care, Vita, Middlesex Hospital’s community magazine underwent a major design and editorial overhaul. Starting with an updated masthead treatment, a unique visual language and writing style was developed to appeal to a diverse, younger adult demographic (late 20s to mid 40s). Smart layouts, dynamic photography and engaging informational graphics proved highly effective, bringing an exciting new flavor to the magazine. Distributed to more than 20,000 people in the served community, the magazine publicized the numerous hospital sponsored and subsidized programs available at little or no cost.
